Have you ever tried aromatherapy? If you own a diffuser or have gotten several types of massage, chances are that you have! Aromatherapy uses the power of scent to offer a healing remedy to supports our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
What is aromatherapy?
Let’s first clarify what aromatherapy is. It is a holistic healing practice commonly used to help support well-being, promote relaxation, and support both physical and emotional health. The therapy makes use of aromatic essential oils – oils from various parts of plants, including flowers, leaves, stems, and roots. Aromatherapy is either recieved via inhalation (diffusers or direct inhalation) or via topical application (massage oils, baths, or creams).
